On Weds the whole troop completed the "Endurance" circuit which included extreme Jenga, abseiling, gumboot throwing, rockclimbing, crate stacking (run by John Campbell and Sally Cooper for the whole ten days!), code breaking games and, everyone's favourite, the water battles with coloured ammo!! - Don't be surprised if Scouts return looking red and blue!! We are told food colouring washes out! .... Eventually!!!

Half the troop have fought in a laser skirmish battle this morning (Thurs) - Bruce and Mike were on their team but seemed to get repeatedly killed by friendly fire!! As I type those Scouts aree at the Cirque du Scout - completing their final activity of the Jamboree.

The rest have already finished all the activities and are out and about checking out all the contingent tents and shops for the last time. Most Scouts are planning to bring back souvenirs and/or gifts - Any pocket money allowance over the $10 daily limit has been on the basis that items purchased must be shown to the banker!

Rumours are rife as to who is to perform tonight at the closing ceremony - Most are now fairly certain that AC/DC will not be there!! Though Carl is still pushing his rumour as hard as he can!
