Hall Hire

We have two halls which are available to hire;

  • Canadian Bay beach hall, Williams Road, Mt Eliza
  • Humphries Road Hall, Corner of Humphries Road & Baden Powell Drive, Frankston South

Our Canadian Bay beach hall features a first floor meeting room with seating for fifteen and a magnificent view! A projector and screen are available for use as well as a whiteboard and capsule coffee machine. The beach hall has modern stainless steel kitchen and new bathrooms with showers and disabled access. It can sleep 30 people, on their own bedding, in three separate areas.

Our Humphries Road hall also has a newly renovated bathrooms and a stainless steel kitchen. The building is now accessible for wheelchair users including the new toilet facilities.

Hire fees are $150 per day, with a refundable bond also levied. A weekend rate of $300 for the beach hall provides use of the hall from Friday night until Sunday afternoon.

Both halls are also available for hire on a regular, long-term basis for suitable activities, at negotiated rates. Hirers on a longer term basis need to carry public liability insurance to the value of $10 million, which nominates the venue and the activity.

Short term hirers need to enter into a hall hire agreement, but do not require public liability insurance, even though it is recommended. The public liability insurance carried by Baden Powell Park Scout Group for its venues only covers scouting activities.

Because of their proximity to residential development and the Scouting Association’s policy on alcohol, neither are available for parties, amplified musical concerts and band practice.

Canadian Bay Beach Hall
